ESM to Present Two Sessions at 25th Annual NAGAP Conference
ESM has been selected to present two sessions at this year’s NAGAP Annual Conference, which draws graduate enrollment advisors and directors from around the country. The 25th anniversary event takes place April 25th – April 28th at The Hilton Austin.
The “Right” Student: From Ideal Prospect to Successful Graduate
Friday, April 27th at 10:45 a.m.
Making sure a program is a fit for the student is as important as making sure the school has the ideal type of student enrolled in the program – a student who has the propensity to stay in school, graduate, secure a job and pay off student loans. From the initial interaction with a prospective student, attendees will learn what traits, behaviors, demographics and historical information can help them better predict whether or not that student will be successful.
Leading this session is Murray Smith, Chief Marketing Officer of ESM. Smith will discuss ways to identify, market to and engage the right student, including subjective and objective factors that will help advisors assess a student’s propensity to successfully move through the student lifecycle.
Real Facts, Real Expectations: What You Need to Know to Succeed with an Adult and Online Enrollment Marketing Plan
Friday, April 27th at 1:15 p.m.
Smith joins Aaron Edwards, Executive Director of Business Development at PlattForm Higher Education, to lead this session, which will highlight best practices for effectively planning, executing, reviewing and optimizing a school’s marketing dollars and overall admissions process.
Smith and Edwards will talk about the enrollment marketing and management processes institutions should implement to serve adult and online learners. Attendees will discuss the importance of setting realistic cost per enrollment goals and expectations, understanding the enrollment marketing landscape, and evaluating curricula type and overall program offerings and how they impact marketing and admissions.
