Ryan Hughes Joins ESM as Regional Vice President

ESM has brought a new regional vice president on board to support its business development team.  Ryan Hughes has more than 17 years of experience in management and leadership roles serving the education and financial services industries.

As regional vice president at ESM, Ryan will be working with colleges and universities to strengthen student recruitment and student retention in order to deliver a better educational experience along the student lifecycle.  He has a solid track record in forging relationships with schools and helping them build a strong sense of community among students and staff.

Prior to joining ESM, Ryan was the Western U.S. sales manager for a software company specializing in the education and sports markets.  He managed a team that handled more than 6,500 accounts covering a 14 state territory, and was instrumental in increasing volume by 183 percent in year one.

Previously, Ryan owned and operated NewLife Lending for 11 years where he managed multi-million dollar portfolios.  Early on in his career, Ryan served as regional sales manager for First Bank of California.

Ryan holds a Bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University. When not with his wife and two daughters, he can be found on the golf course or casting along a river.  ESM welcomes Ryan to our team!
